Jaro Waldeck is a cinematographer with bases in Ireland, Czech Republic and Sweden. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Cinematography from Columbia College Chicago, and
a Masters Degree in Cinematography from FAMU Prague.
Her first narrative feature Dreamtown premiered at Galway Film Fleadh 2024, along with Best Irish Documentary Feature Housewife of the Year. Jaro’s latest work includes a medical documentary Counter Attack, a short comedy drama Conveyance, a short drama Shelter, and an environmental documentary The Forest Midwife.
In off time, Jaro is a keen photographer (Stills) and enjoys spending time in her garden, growing variety of vegetables.
