"REFUGE" - WORKING TITLE

Yesterday, I returned from Seville where I spent seven days with the team behind Dublin based production company Whackala, shooting their new short fiction film Refuge. Director Leticia Agudo - native to Seville - did a pre-scout of the locations a while ago. Together with her team mates Paul McGrath and Bobby Moloney we solidified those locations and shot some test footage first before our talent arrived. He was none other than Tommy Harris, a Cork born actor with a handsome face and undeniable charisma. On opposite side of him we worked with a non-actor, Cameroon born charming young man with the name of Cletus Fonony. His story of a refugee helped inspire this short film about a young Irish man who suddenly finds himself stranded and alone in the streets of Seville.
